One Week Before
Avoid these medications (if medically safe — check with your doctor): - Aspirin - Ibuprofen, Aleve - Fish oil - Vitamin E supplements - Anything that thins the blood
Thinning blood means more bleeding during the procedure, which washes out pigment and impacts retention.
Avoid these skincare products on the brow area: - Retinol - Vitamin C serums - AHAs/BHAs (glycolic, lactic, salicylic acid) - Chemical exfoliants - Prescription tretinoin
48 Hours Before
- No alcohol (thins the blood)
- No excessive caffeine
- No waxing, tweezing, or tinting of brows
- No intense sun exposure or tanning
24 Hours Before
- No caffeine day of
- Eat a solid meal before your appointment
- Come with clean, makeup-free skin on brows
- Arrive 10 minutes early to review design
What to Bring
- Reference photos (brows you love)
- Your typical makeup look (so we can match the design to your everyday style)
- A hair tie (long hair back helps during the service)
- Patience — full results settle at 6 weeks
Mental Prep
Remember: your brows will look darker than you expect for the first 3–5 days. This is intentional. We overfill slightly knowing 20–40% fades during healing. By week 4, you'll have the result you signed up for.
