Microblading healing follows a predictable pattern. Knowing what's normal makes the process dramatically easier — no panic when your brows look darker than expected on day 2, and no worry when they fade on day 10.
Day 1
Brows look dark, sharp, and a little red. Slight swelling is normal. Gently blot any lymph fluid with a clean tissue. No water, no touching, no creams.
Day 2–3
Brows may look even darker as pigment oxidizes. This is the "too dark" phase — everyone panics. Don't. It's temporary.
Day 4–7
Scabbing begins. Pigment flakes off in small bits with the scab. Absolutely no picking. Let the flakes fall naturally.
Day 8–10
Most scabbing is complete. Brows look patchy and uneven — this is the "ghosting" phase. Pigment has gone below the skin's surface but isn't yet visible from above.
Day 11–21
Pigment begins to reappear. Brows gradually return to their intended color, but lighter than final.
Week 4–6
Final color settles. Touch-up session is performed to even out any areas that didn't retain pigment perfectly.
